I have been a professional astrologer since 2009 and thoroughly enjoy working with people using astrology as a guiding light. Here's a bit about my background and what drew me to become an astrologer.
A quality astrology reading can help us navigate through life more effectively, to not only meet challenges with more awareness, and to recognize and make the most of opportunities as well. An effective forecasting tool, astrology brings to light, much the same as a weather report, the likely conditions ahead, rather than specific, inevitable outcomes. Life involves choice, a function of freewill, and we are always altering the trajectory of our lives with every decision we make, big and small. A reading by a competent astrologer shines a clarifying light on the road ahead, allowing us to see the likely challenges and choices we will face. As astrologer Ray Merriman put it: "Astrology is a choice revealer, not a choice maker."
All readings are a dialogue, a conversation between you and me. Your concerns, challenges, and questions — what you want to delve into — will determine the focus of the session. People often come to me with difficult challenges and it can be very helpful to put those struggles in context, relative to a natal chart dynamic and/or a related transit, which often reveals the "silver lining" — an ability to see the bigger picture, longer view, and insight into the deeper, inner and outer influences at play.
You need not know anything about astrology, I am happy to explain the various influences in plain English with real life examples, devoid of confusing jargon. I have worked with people of all levels of astrology familiarity, from absolute beginners to fellow astrologers.
Session Options
- First-time clients: 90-minute reading, $240
- Follow-up 60-minute sessions (for six months following the reading), $100

I currently offer 90-minute readings over the phone or via Zoom for $240. For every reading, I draw up several charts: natal, natal aspects, transits (how the current planetary positions are impacting the natal chart), secondary progressions, solar arc directions (forecasting methods we use to move the natal chart forward), and the current solar return "birthday" chart. I spend several hours analyzing the various influences at play to produce a reading of the highest quality. With each session, high-resolution copies of your birth chart, "aspectarian" (natal aspect grid), and other charts used in the consultation are included. Following the reading I also offer extensive follow-up material (for those who want to delve deeper), a comprehensive addendum with additional information on the chart dynamics we discussed in the session and key dates, all customized for the client. This can range from 40-60 pages of my own written material on forecasting methods, planetary dynamics, influences of key natal houses and more.
For six months following an initial reading, one-hour follow-up sessions are available at a reduced rate of $100. Thereafter, 90-minute readings are available anytime for return clients for $200.

Astrology is too often seen as personality-defining and fortune-telling, which is definitely not my view of this ancient art. When competently practiced, astrology is fathoms deeper, richer and more meaningful than the banality one finds on too many websites and in pop astrology books: clichéd caricatures, shallow, stereotypical sign and planet descriptions. It is truly sad to see such a old, revered art and source of healing light and wisdom, reduced to such tripe for it is meant to reveal meaningful, multidimensional and fluid themes — archetypes that when understood can catalyze a far deeper understanding of ourselves, our purpose, and life in general.

Astrology is imbued with archetypal metaphoric meaning. Archetypes are symbols that speak to us from a very deep, collectively human place. Similar to dream imagery, they are instinctively attractive and occur throughout the world in interesting theme-and-variation that "vary a great deal without losing their basic pattern" as Jung described their universal manifestations. "Mythologems" as Jung referred to archetypes I think is a term more fitting as it conveys the multifaceted, multivalent quality ("gems") of these universal themes ("mythos"). We find these representations collectives in all cultures, indicating that human beings everywhere dip into the same, communal pool. Archetypes are like riverbeds, Jung wrote, which dry up when the water deserts them, yet can be found again at any time. Each is like an old course in which the water of life flowed for centuries, digging a deep channel for itself.
Astrologers know how to read, to recognize these motifs in the complex, dynamic interplay of planets, signs, and elements, beautifully and uniquely interwoven in every birth chart which describe an original tapestry of color and pattern: YOU. A reading by an experienced and perceptive astrologer is empowering: goes deep into the inner workings of the individual in an honest, inspiring and illuminating manner that can open one's eyes to a whole new way of seeing oneself and life.
